A Host Home Provider is an independent contractor who provides services to one, two, or three adults with IDD in their own home. (Think of a foster care type placement for adults!) A Host Home Provider might be single, married, male, female, non-binary, and/ or a member of the LGBTQ+ community. The common characteristic of Host Home Providers that contract with C.A.R.E., is that they each possess a strong desire to change a life.
The Host Home Provider must also have the ability to pass background checks and have a valid Driver's License with a clean Driving Record.
Income (reimbursement for services) is determined on an individualized basis based on the specific support needs of the individual in services.
