QMAP Course

This 8-hour course teaches necessary skills to be a Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP).  Our curriculum is approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and always updated with the most current guidelines and best practices.  This course is classroom based (in person) and includes a skills observation (practicum).  Upon successful completion, the student will receive a certification of completion and the student's name will be added to the Colorado QMAP Directory. 

Our QMAP course is appropriate for the following professions:

•  Correctional facilities
• Juvenile facilities operated by or under contract with the Department of Human Services
• Assisted living residences
• Adult foster care facilities
• Alternate care facilities
• Residential child care facilities for children
• Secure residential treatment centers
• Facilities that provide treatment for persons with mental illness
• All services funded through and regulated by the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing in support of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and
• Adult day care facilities
